Biography
Agro Terra, a dairy farm, was founded in 2018. The main purpose of which was the production and processing of milk. To achieve this goal, land was purchased and the construction of the farm began in stages. The first to be built were pens, calf coops and a small 2X8 herringbone milking parlor produced by Afikim (Israel). Forage crops began to be grown on the land at the farm. 116 Simmental-Flexi cows were brought from Austria. Two years later, the construction of new cattle pens began. Over the next 3 years, 331 heifers of the Danish Holstein breed were purchased from Denmark. To obtain environmentally friendly milk and herd management, the latest 2x24 parallel milking system of Afikim production (Israel) was purchased. Currently, the farm has 547 cows and 445 heifers. New buildings have been built to accommodate additional 500 dairy cows and the required number of young animals. On average, we get 35 liters of milk per cow. By the end of 2026, the number of cows will be increased to 1,000 heads. In the near future, the farm plans to purchase milk processing equipment.
